I am a U.S. American artist living in Hamburg now since thirty years. The base of my work is found in woodcut and linoleum cut in printmaking but also in photography. I often go out through the night to photograph people and empty spaces / von Menschen verlassene Orte.
This still-life photo has been on my mind since the beginning of the Corona Virus because i have been watching it as i keep working and creating. This Pic has given me the idea of the vast ocean in the jar, the growth that continues to take place throughout time and the full force of the creative mind that keeps ideas flowing.
Greetings and Salutations from Eimsbüttel
